            中文摘要: 互聯網衆籌的出現大大降低了智能硬件的創業門檻,甚至普通人只需擁有一個足夠好的創意就可以吸引來自全球大衆的支持,從而加速了創新和創業的步伐。然而,很多硬件創業者雖在衆籌上取得成功,卻在決定産品交付能力的供應鏈上出現問題,最終無法兌現衆籌時的承諾。本案例以世界知名衆籌平台IndieGoGo上的硬件項目GOkey爲對象,描述了該項目3年中先在美國舊金山成爲衆籌明星,繼而因爲供應鏈的原因研發失敗,接著其創始人到中國深圳尋求項目重啓,成功研發卻再次因資金耗盡無力批量生産,最終破産的波折曆程。本案例旨在引導經營管理人員認識供應鏈管理對新創中小企業生存和發展的重要意義,並利用所掌握的供應鏈管理知識做出合理決策。
            英文摘要: The arising of crowdfunding based on Internet lowers the threshold  for start-up of intelligent hardware, even ordinary people with a brilliant enough idea could attract crowd’s support globally, thus accelerating the pace of innovation and entrepreneurship.While successful in crowdfunding, many hardware entrepreneurs fail to deliver on their crowdfunding commitments because they fail to manage the supply chain which determines the ablility of the delivery of product.This case is based on the hardware project GOkey on the world-famous crowdfunding platform IndieGoGo and it describes the twists and turns of GOkey during 3 year’s time.At first GOkey became a crowdfunding star in San Francisco ,and later failured in R & D due to supply chain problems. Then its founder went to Shenzhen, China to seek for a second chance, though completed R & D this time but run out of money to mass production and went bankruptcy fanalily.The purpose of this case is to guide managers to reflect on the significance of supply chain management to the survival and development of even newly built SME , and to make rational and wise decisions by using the knowledge of supply chain management.
